Not just rockets & robots...
"Science Fiction" means—to us—everything found in the science fiction section of a bookstore, or at a science fiction convention, or amongst the winners of the Hugo awards given by the World Science Fiction Society. This includes the genres of science fiction (or sci-fi), fantasy, slipstream, alternative history, and even stories with lighter speculative elements. We hope you enjoy the broad range that SF has to offer.

Gregg Chamberlain works as a community newspaper reporter, looking forward to retirement soon after four decades in the trade. He and his missus, Anne, live a quiet life in rural Ontario, with their trio of cats, who allow the humans the delusion that they are in charge of the house. Author Comments

To be honest, even I am surprised how this turned out. All I was doing one day, while watching Coronation Street with my Anne, was amusing myself during the commercial breaks by scribbling out six-word "ads" for the classified section of an online journal that catered to the sf, fantasy, horror, and metahuman realms. When I got around to providing section headers and then grouping the ads under the headers, this was the result, my first actual meta-story (at least I think that's what it is) with a bit of a tearjerker ending.
